I have seen many changes through the years since I first of all joined the exhibition industry in 1985, where I was a production co-ordinator for purpose-built exhibition stands, attending site during build-up at the NEC, Stoneleigh Showground, Devon & County showground etc. There are of course still many purpose-built exhibition contractors for the stands that the modular systems are not suitable for. I have also seen changes of how graphic production has changed, from the days when if you had a large run, screen printing or litho was the most cost effective way of producing graphics for your exhibition stand. The problem was portable stands were a one off. The graphics would be produced photographically, this was time consuming, where the image would be projected onto the photographic paper, the panel would then be laminated and any text would most commonly be applied in vinyl lettering.

Printed foamex panels are ideal for use on modular folding display kits. Printing on to forex / foamex rigid panels is not a problem with the latest printers even glass is possible.
